The Idea Behind SafeMe

The idea of SafeMe was born from witnessing the pain and injustice faced by countless individuals who are victims of violence, abuse, and exploitation,
especially women and children. Each story of suffering is not a distant headline — it is the daily reality in our community, often unnoticed or ignored. From heinous crimes like rape and acid attacks to the silent struggles of child labor and domestic violence, we recognized the urgent need for change.

Our story began with a simple but profound question: Can someone stop this?

We realized that many people, especially the most vulnerable, have no one to turn to for protection or justice. Governments, laws, and organizations often fall short in providing the safety people deserve. This frustration sparked a movement within us — a movement to take action where others had failed, to create a platform that not only raises awareness but actively fights to change the story for those at risk.

As our story continued, we reached out to political leaders, organizations, and communities to gather support. Despite challenges — from silence by authorities to limited immediate support — we remained determined, turning to grassroots efforts and building a community of advocates like you who believe in the power of unity.

   About Us

Welcome to Teki Nepal Electronics, established in 2017 in Kathmandu with a passion to make a difference through technology. We provide technical support to our clients, and in doing so, we connect with people from all walks of life, each with unique challenges. These exposures have shaped our journey and the way we see the world.

Our founder, Ramesh Poudel, started his career in his family business. Seeing potential in the IT field, he decided to open his own company, bringing his vision of a tech-driven future to life. Beyond his work in technology, Ramesh has always been drawn to social causes. When not sharing his contributions on social media, he’s supporting those in need, driven by his desire to give back.

In 2019, Ramesh joined Cyma Nepal, an organization providing shelter, food, and education to homeless and orphaned children. Working closely with Cyma Nepal, he saw the dreams and hopes of these children and became more committed to humanitarian work. His involvement deepened when he joined FAN (Freedom for All Nepal), gaining new perspectives on the issues faced by vulnerable groups in society.

These experiences led to the birth of our latest project, SafeMe. Although not yet registered, its ambitious goal is clear: to reduce crimes like rape, blackmail, murder, sexual abuse, domestic violence, and child abuse by 70-80%. We know it’s an ambitious goal, but we believe we can achieve it.
